It can replace white sugar in drinks like tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk. Jaggery is also used to prepare traditional drinks like Gur Ka Sharbat and jaggery lemonade during summer.
Jaggery can be used instead of refined sugar in many baked foods such as cakes, cookies and pancakes. It gives a natural sweetness and rich caramel flavor.
